As a music industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, Richard Shepherd has spent his career writing, recording, and performing alongside some of the biggest names in the industry. From his global performances to the use of his songs in TV, radio, and film, including a cover by legendary guitarist Carlos Santana, Shepherd has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the music world.
But it wasn't until he started teaching music to at-risk youth in New York City that Shepherd decided to take his passion for music and education a step further. This led to the creation of the Heroes of Music Institute, an online school dedicated to educating future generations of musicians and artists on both their craft and the business side of the industry.
